I always figure that anyone with a camera would have a set of alphabet letters in their collection at some point, right? Maybe it’s just us librarians or lovers of language? With my camera in my pocket, I find I am collecting all sorts of things on my walks, my two most current collections being water and gas utility pipe caps, and letters. Some day I’ll start doing something silly like writing poetry with my alphabet collection, but for now it consists of lots of Os, Is, and Ls and too few of the less commonly found shapes. Just for fun, here are a couple of my favorites from the other collection, which already numbers close to 300 items. The blue water lids outnumber the yellow gas lids about 5 : 1 in our city.
I was out doing some Christmas shopping today and had to stop at various points to shoot the sky. They are no longer in chronological order because I played with them on the phone and deleted some and got lost in the process. Guess I shouldn’t tell people what I do all day (organize information, LOL!)
