Terese Agnew Interview – “Portrait of a Textile Worker”

I posted recently about Terese Agnew’s large textile mural “Portrait of a Textile Worker” made out of tens of thousands of clothing labels. You can now hear Kathleen Dunn interview Terese regarding this amazing work on the Wisconsin Public Radio website. The interview aired this afternoon and the artist is giving a talk at the Museum of Wisconsin Art this evening in West Bend, WI. Again, the piece is amazing and worth seeing in person. It will remain on exhibit at the MOWA through January 17, 2014. Read more about the piece and about the MOWA here

I’ve shot this before from a car, but this time I was walking by so here’s a new perspective.  This really nice full-building-sized mural is located near the Whole Foods on East North Avenue.
