Fresh lychees. I’ve only had these from a can, about 25 years ago, and they were awful. I am told they are very good fresh. I did not buy any, but took a photo instead.

Making kimchee. I did not buy any, but I did have kimchee cabbage and radishes during lunch at Arirang, the restaurant behind the H-Mart grocery store.

There are several varieties of dried fish for sale, something I have not seen before in my regular grocery back home.
These are different types of bamboo.
Note the red beans over ice flakes. I still don’t understand this combo, but it was advertised for sale in more than one place just outside the grocery area. I did try the green tea ice cream over green tea ice flakes. Okay, but I still prefer vanilla ice cream from the dairy state.

Quail eggs. Small and speckled.
Live conch and oysters. Mussels and clams were in the next bins over and we tapped a few clams just to watch them close up. I don’t get out enough.
These blue crabs were alive, pretty, and inexpensive at $3.99/#. At least I think that’s cheap for blue crab. I bet they’re delicious.
Did I mention you can get your hair cut or styled just outside the perimeter of the grocery? Here my friend gets a quick trim.
