Yesterday there were at least a dozen anti-abortion demonstrators on the UWM campus standing beside extremely large – larger than life sized – color posters of dismembered fetuses. Many of them were young mothers who brought their young children along to the event. It was disturbing to many to see these kids playing on the plaza in front of such enormous, bloody, and graphic images just as if it were any other day in the park.
These chalk messages were still on the plaza this morning when I walked in to work. You can pretty much tell which ones were done by children of the demonstrators. University students obviously added their own remarks.
