A Morning Walk along the River near UWM.
Walking in and Around the Milwaukee Art Museum Today
Looking north northwest at the Calatrava wing of the MAM.
Visitor admission stickers stuck to a parking sign outside the museum.
Cement column near the north parking lot.
Lower lake side reflections on the War Memorial.
Inside Windhover Hall.
Looking straight up under the wings of Windhover Hall.
Monumental Head of Balzac, by Auguste Rodin. Love that title. It is what it is.
Beth Lipman’s Laid Table, all of hand blown glass.
One of the galleries.
Outside on the lawn along the lakefront walking path.
Another view of the Calatrava from the south side. Soon the field of dwarf flowering crabs in the foreground will be blooming like mad.

Cambridge Commons Chalkwork
… or should I have said chalktwerk?
Cambridge Commons is a residence hall for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee located about a mile and a half south of the campus. Visiting today I was impressed with the students’ creative use of chalkboard space. The Milwaukee skyline drawing is particularly nice. I guess the Miley Cyrus drawing is true to life as well. ;P (that emoticon is a Miley, by the way …)
